Our Venue
Situated in scenic Maple Ridge, B.C., about an hour east of Downtown Vancouver, Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre is a year-round destination for meetings, conferences, and retreats. It is nestled within the University of British Columbia’s Malcolm Knapp Research Forest, part of UBC’s Faculty of Forestry & Environmental Stewardship.
The Malcolm Knapp Research Forest is respectively located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Katzie (q̓ic̓əy̓) First Nation. It is a living laboratory and a vital outdoor classroom that has shaped generations of foresters and environmental stewards. It is a vibrant hub for research and provides immersive learning opportunities for students and professionals.
